2024 SUPPLYSIDE WEST (hereinafter referred to as SSW) will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, USA from October 30 to 31. The exhibition is held once a year and is hosted by the world-renowned exhibition company Informa Exhibitions. Fi North America, the food ingredients and additives exhibition in Las Vegas, USA, will also be held at the same time.
Each exhibitor participating in the SSW can establish connections with 69 new buyers on average. 70% of visitors said they met new suppliers at the exhibition that they had never met in the past year. 86% of exhibitors received high-quality visitors.
Previous Situation
The last SSW had a net exhibition area of about 1,200 square meters, with about 18,000 professional buyers attending this SSW, focusing on natural and artificial ingredients as well as food, supplements, vitamins, skin care lotions and other products.
Exhibitors
A total of more than 1,400 exhibiting companies from all over the world participated in the exhibition, bringing together nutrition professionals, buyers and suppliers from across the industry, an increase of 27% from 2022. Exhibitors mainly came from 44 countries including Canada, Germany, China and India.
Exhibitors showcased the latest developments from ingredients, formulation, manufacturing to packaging, across categories such as dietary supplements, food, beverages, personal care and animal nutrition.
At the 2023 show, more than 200 exhibiting companies are exhibiting for the first time.
As the world’s largest producer, supplier and exporter of health care product raw materials, China also played a key role in this SSW.
There are more than 400 Chinese companies participating in this year’s SSW and FISA exhibitions in the United States, bringing more than 1,000 kinds of organic foods and raw materials, including plant extracts, fish oils, functional sugars, amino acids, vitamins, etc. to the North American market.
At the same time, during the 5-day Education conference, learn about food, beverages and supplements from the perspective of trends, science, innovation and regulations.
Relevant industry topics and trends covered advances in compliance, regulation, formulation and sustainability. Through a five-day series of educational sessions, briefings and training sessions, researchers, scientists, physicians and medical experts provided insights into the data and components behind products in a variety of categories.
Topics range from artificial intelligence and blockchain to regenerative agriculture, fermentation, supplement intake and supply chain solutions, including the latest developments in areas such as healthy aging, women’s health, overall well-being and immunity, as well as industry trends to improve food through sugar reduction, natural food color options and enhanced taste.
