ORLANDO, Fla. — Visit Orlando And Orlando HealthOrlando Health, the official health and wellness partner, has partnered to launch the Orlando Health Virtual Care Center, which is housed in the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC).
The virtual care center is located near the Visit Orlando Welcome Center in the West Building and will offer attendees the opportunity to be screened by on-site medical providers.
“As a leading meeting destination in the country, it’s important that Orlando continues to lead the way in healthy meetings,” said Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. “By providing convenient, high-quality healthcare to attendees, the new Orlando Health Virtual Care Center enhances the services and resources we offer to groups and also gives planners the confidence to choose Orlando knowing that we value the health and well-being of their attendees.”

Staffed by Orlando Health team members, the virtual care center connects visitors with medical providers through virtual visits in its private room, where board-certified physicians can evaluate conditions ranging from allergies and respiratory infections to sore throats and insect bites. Prescriptions are available and patients will be given summaries to share with their regular healthcare provider.
A visit to the center lasts about 30 minutes and costs $55, which visitors can pay by credit or debit card, as health insurance is not accepted. Depending on the level of care needed, the center is also equipped with a concierge phone number to connect visiting patients in need with other resources such as urgent care, virtual visits and local urgent care.
