Atlantic City Makes Changes With Trade Show Organizers' Needs in Mind

Visit Atlantic City adapts to the needs of commerce

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Visit Atlantic City, which rebranded earlier this year, is working to provide trade show organizers with the tools they need to make their jobs easier. The latest addition is a redesigned website that makes hosting a trade show in this iconic beach destination easier than ever.

The new website will enhance the experience for trade show organizers by providing content and information about venues and attractions they may not be aware of.

Dominick Mondi, executive director of the Northeast Spa & Pool Association, is impressed with the new site. “I know Atlantic City very well and the new site fits the energy of the city,” Mondi said.

He finds the trip creation feature very useful as users who are organising a show can easily like a venue or event with a heart icon and are placed into a trip creator ensuring a tailor-made event planning experience.

The Northeast Spa & Pool Association drew nearly 11,000 attendees and 403 exhibitors to the Atlantic City Convention Center in January.

Atlantic City has all the ingredients for successful trade shows

The city has more than 17,500 first-class hotel rooms, 1.8 million square feet of meeting space throughout the city and 486,600 contiguous square feet of exhibit space at the LEED Gold and GBAC STAR certified Atlantic City Convention Center.

The new website showcases the authenticity and uniqueness of Atlantic City, highlighting must-see activities, attractions and experiences while providing intuitive tools to help trade show organizers achieve their goals.

The updated homepage includes prompts to help show organizers easily navigate the page. Updates include slider features with upcoming conventions and entertainment events; clickable tiles where organizers can instantly access detailed information about attractions, events, meeting venues and more; icons that list the unique benefits that set Atlantic City apart from other destinations; and a blog and press release section with accessible images and buttons for further exploration.

“Our website is easier to navigate than ever, capturing the vibrant energy of Atlantic City by providing users with an engaging and interactive journey,” said Larry Sieg, president and CEO of Visit Atlantic City. “We look forward to meeting planners, exhibitors and attendees using our website to host memorable meetings and events that seamlessly blend business and leisure in our vibrant coastal destination.”

Beyond the homepage, users will find a user-friendly interface and intuitive navigation. With the new trip creation feature, organizers can access relevant information to create a unique and personalized experience from the moment they open the site.

With header navigation, users will find everything from weather icons, allowing organizers to plan events in Atlantic City accordingly, rain or shine, and a red “Request for Proposal” (RFP) button where they are easily directed to download or fill out the RFP form to quick links to the Group Tour, Atlantic City Sports Commission and Atlantic City Film microsites and easy access to Atlantic City’s social media accounts where organizers can stay connected with the latest updates around the destination.
