This exhibition is the most famous and largest textile and clothing trade and exchange platform in Vietnam. It is also the only textile and clothing industry exhibition in Vietnam recognized by UFI (International Exhibitor Quality Assurance).
Vietnam is the country with the second fastest economic development in the world. Labor costs, environmental protection requirements and international export tariffs are all better than other countries. With the support of the Vietnamese Government, Vietnam’s textile and clothing industry has developed rapidly in recent years. Vietnam recently signed free trade agreements with the Eurasian Union, the European Union and South Korea. Today, large domestic and foreign companies are increasing their investments in Vietnam and establishing new textile and garment factories. The demand for different machines and fabrics for manufacturing textiles and garments has increased significantly. Vietnam’s textile and clothing exports reached US$28 billion in 2017, accounting for 17 percent of Vietnam’s total merchandise exports during this period. Vietnam will achieve the planned target of exporting textiles worth $35 billion in 2018.
