ORLANDO — USA Beauty, LLC, a joint venture between Informa Markets, BolognaFiere Group and the Professional Beauty Association, announced strategic leadership appointments to help further grow the Premiere Beauty and Cosmoprof North America brands within the USA Beauty portfolio.
Liz Hitchcock will serve as Vice President of Premiere Beauty Salons. She most recently served as Salon Director at Emerald and prior to that, Group Director for the International Beauty Show (IBS) and the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference New York (IECSC) at Questex.
With over 20 years of experience in the B2B and beauty industry, her expertise in brand expansion, event leadership, sales and business development makes her the ideal person to lead the growth of the Premiere Beauty USA portfolio.
In this role, she will oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, while helping to enhance the brand’s reach, including Premiere Beauty trade shows.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be joining this exceptional team at Premiere Beauty Shows. As an industry leader, Premiere has consistently set the standard for excellence, shaping trends, nurturing talent and driving growth within the professional beauty industry. I look forward to collaborating with the beauty community, fostering an environment where businesses can thrive and flourish together,” Hitchcock said.

In another appointment, Liza Rapay assumes the broader leadership role of Vice President, Cosmoprof North America, in which she will continue to oversee the strategic direction and expansion of Cosmoprof North America’s presence in the region’s beauty market while leading all Cosmoprof North America events.
Rapay brings nearly 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, including six with the company, as well as valuable knowledge and industry relationships that will help continue to drive the brand’s growth.
“Leading Cosmoprof North America events with our valued partners is a great honor and a significant responsibility. I look forward to continuing our journey of growth and innovation, ensuring that our events not only meet but exceed the expectations of the beauty industry. With our recent success in Miami and the tremendous momentum ahead in Las Vegas, we are well positioned to explore new horizons and create unprecedented new opportunities in the beauty space in North America,” said Rapay.
Earlier this year, Cosmoprof North America Miami was launched and has seen success in tapping into a new market space, providing an entry into the Latin American market as well as gaining more attention from beauty buyers across the region and setting new benchmarks for beauty trade shows.
“Our intent is to grow our beauty portfolio to complement our global leadership position with our strong beauty network,” said Ken McAvoy, executive vice president of corporate development and operations at Informa Markets and president of South Florida Ventures. “These strategic leadership commitments position us well for the aggressive growth strategy we have implemented. We plan to announce additional expansions in the U.S. market at Cosmoprof in Las Vegas in July.”
