CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive (TSE) has announced an all-new session for the Fastest 50 Education Summit 2024, taking place May 9 during the Fastest 50 Awards & Summit at Resorts World Las Vegas.
The “Venue Town Hall: Costs, Challenges and Opportunities for Collaboration” session will bring together leaders from major convention centers to candidly discuss sensitive venue topics that impact trade show organizers, such as packaged services, exclusivities, costs and fees.
Panelists, representing more than 7 million square feet of prime exhibition space across the United States, include Steve Hill, CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority; Mark Tester, executive director of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando; Freddie Peterson, general manager of the Miami Beach Convention Center; and Larita Clark, CEO of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA), owner of McCormick Place.
The panel will be moderated by Christine Flanagan, Chief Operating Officer of North American Events for Informa Markets.

The group will explore how trade show organizers and venues can work together to increase value for exhibitors, reduce costs and increase revenue opportunities. They will also discuss what venues can do to support trade show organizers that have a significant economic impact on their cities.
“We are excited to bring this type of exclusive content to Fastest 50 attendees,” said Rick Simon, chairman of TSE Media Group and president and CEO of United Service Companies. “These speakers care deeply about the success of trade show organizers’ events and represent the best of the best when it comes to thinking outside the box and implementing innovative solutions and ideas to increase event value. This session will give trade show organizers the opportunity to hear what these venues have to say about pressing issues as they grapple with tough questions.”
