CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive has unveiled its list of the top 100 U.S. trade shows of 2022, which ranks among the top 100 U.S. trade shows. The show rankings will be revealed at the TSE Gold 100 Awards Ceremony and Summit, September 13-15 at the Fairmont Del Mar in San Diego, California.
“Sincere congratulations to all of the honorees. Winning was a major undertaking in 2022, and we look forward to celebrating these honorees in September. Following our record-breaking Fastest 50 class of 2022, we are thrilled to recognize and celebrate the trade shows that represent the biggest and best in our industry with our Gold 100 program,” said Gabrielle Weiss, TSE Vice President and Editor-in-Chief. “It’s clear that our industry’s rebound is in full swing. We are all excited to see these long-standing, iconic shows continue to make the Gold 100 list and add new names to the ranks. And as we bring together the industry’s top leaders to recognize their teams and shows, we will capitalize on this think tank to discuss the concepts, ideas and case studies that will launch our industry into the future at our Education Summit preceding our Red Carpet Gala.” This will be an event not to be missed.”
Gold 100 honorees include JCK, MODEX, ISSA Show North America and NATDA Trailer Show, among many other iconic trade shows, such as World of Concrete, CES and SEMA Show.
Gold 100 shows are ranked by paid exhibit space, and the collective total for all Gold 100 shows was 35,064,651 net square feet. The total number of exhibiting companies was 88,018, and the overall attendance for shows reporting this metric was 2,419,478 attendees. Based on an average space rate of $36.61, Gold 100 shows had nearly $1.3 billion in exhibit space.
