CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive (TSE) has promoted Maddy Ryley from senior associate editor to editor-in-chief.
In this role, she will oversee the day-to-day operations of the website content and manage the monthly print edition of Trade Show Executive magazine, from story assignments, writing, editing and labor throughout the production and design process.

Maddy started at TSE in May 2020 as an editorial intern and discovered a passion for the trade show industry. She joined TSE full-time as an associate editor after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May 2022. Earlier this year, Maddy was recognized by ASBPE with the 2023 Azbee Regional Bronze Award in the Group Profile category for her coverage of TSE’s Women to Watch honorees and the Regional Bronze Award in the Overall Excellence in E-Newsletter category for her work on TSE’s widely read weekly e-newsletter. Most recently, Maddy served as associate news editor and then senior associate editor as she took on more responsibilities for digital content, assignment desk duties, and writing feature articles for TSE’s print magazine.
