LAS VEGAS – As the Venetian Resort Las Vegas celebrates its 25th anniversary, the Las Vegas Strip icon is working on a $1.5 billion reinvestment project that includes a redesign of its suites and a $188 million renovation of its Venetian Convention & Expo Center, one of the largest meeting centers in the world.
“The Venetian Resort’s spirit of innovation has had a profound impact on Las Vegas over the past 25 years and paved the way for our visionary $1.5 billion reinvestment today,” Patrick Nichols, president and general manager of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, said in a statement. “This redevelopment marks more than just a cosmetic renovation; it demonstrates a deep understanding of our guests and a profound reinvention of an iconic resort unlike any other in history. The beauty of this project lies in the balance between the beloved familiar and the new.”
The 4,000 suites at The Venetian Towers, including the Signature Suites, have been completely renovated and feature décor inspired by the Venice Carnival. With the combination of the Venetian and Palazzo Towers, The Venetian has a total of 7,100 rooms, making it the second largest hotel in the world.
Additionally, the Venetian’s convention center is undergoing renovations and is expected to be completed in phases between 2024 and 2026. It includes new elevated lounge-style spaces for all executives. A new speakeasy-style lounge is planned to offer invitation-only events in its 10,000-square-foot space, featuring a 1930s Venetian design.

“Since its inception, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas has been a leader in the meetings and conventions industry and remains at the forefront of the industry, so we are thrilled that this renovation elevates the property to another level to better serve our guests,” said Tony Yousfi, director of sales at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
Throughout the convention center complex, robust furnishings and an art program will be complemented by enhanced lighting, audiovisual updates and carefully integrated digital displays and cutting-edge technology to create an even more powerful backdrop for meeting and event planners.
“Undertaking the renovation of a convention center that hosts consecutive events year after year is no easy task, but our promise is to provide our guests with a first-class experience,” said Nichols. “The planned finishes and amenities have been carefully selected based on customer feedback and will usher in a new era for Venetian Meetings and maintain our position at the forefront of the industry.”
The Venetian Resort also recently announced the Food Rescue Alliance, a partnership with The Just One Project to create a first-of-its-kind program that takes surplus fresh food from catered events, repackages it and provides it to those in the Las Vegas Valley who are experiencing food insecurity. The new partnership results in a 100 percent increase in fresh meals donated to the community each year.
