The 2025 American International Industrial Automation Exhibition SPS Atlanta (hereinafter referred to as the American Automation Exhibition) will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, USA from September 16 to 18. The exhibition is held once a year and is co-organized by the German Messac Exhibition Group and the American Association of Manufacturing Technologies (AMT). It is one of the top ten industrial automation exhibitions in the world.
Its series of exhibitions include SPS IPC Drives, the Nuremberg Industrial Automation and Components Exhibition in Germany, SPS Italia, the Parma Industrial Automation Exhibition in Italy, and SPS Guangzhou International Intelligent Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Exhibition. It is expected that the total exhibition area will reach 35,000 square meters, attracting 710 exhibitors from countries and regions around the world, and 31,000 professional visitors will arrive at the site.
The SPS Smart Automation Exhibition, hosted by Mesago Messe, is a world-renowned trade fair for the automation industry. Since its launch in Germany in 1930, it has now developed into a top exhibition event in the field of electrical automation and components.
The total exhibition area of 2023 German SPS is about 128,000 square meters, attracting nearly 1,000 exhibitors and serving more than 40,000 participants. The exhibits cover drive systems and components, sensor technology, control technology, interface technology, low-voltage switchgear, mechanical infrastructure, industrial computers, manufacturing software and information technology, human-machine interface devices and industrial communications.
As SPS continues to grow in influence in Europe, following its branch exhibitions in Italy and China, SPS will also officially expand to the United States. SPS organizer German Messac Exhibition Group and the American Association of Manufacturing Technology (AMT) have reached a new partnership. SPS will open its first branch exhibition in the United States as part of the 2024 Chicago Machine Tool Show, and will hold an independent trade show in Atlanta in September 2025.
