The 2025 Pulp and Paper Industry, Paper-based Materials and Food Paper Packaging Exhibition PC BDM Expo (hereinafter referred to as China Paper Expo) will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center in China from June 25 to 27. The exhibition is held once a year and was founded in 2009. The China International Water Treatment Chemicals Technology and Application Exhibition Clean Water China will also be held at the same time.

Xu Shuwei, president of the Yangpu Branch of Bank of China, said that the Yangpu Branch learned about the financing needs of Hainan Jinhai Pulp and Paper Co., Ltd.’s 120,000-ton annual specialty paper project through visits. After the re-lending policy was introduced, it was found that the company met the support scope of key areas corresponding to the re-lending projects of relevant departments, and assisted the company in applying for the project as soon as possible. At the same time, the Hainan Branch of Bank of China opened a green approval channel for loan issuance review for the project to improve the review efficiency of the company’s loan withdrawal.

Since 2021, the main form of disclosure of sustainable information in the light manufacturing industry has changed from social responsibility reports to ESG reports. As of 2023, ESG reports accounted for 51.9%. Shell Finance reporters noticed that the ESG information disclosure rates of listed companies in the secondary light manufacturing industry vary. According to relevant classification standards, the light manufacturing industry can be divided into four secondary industries, namely household goods, packaging and printing, cultural and entertainment products, and papermaking. According to statistics from China Chengxin Green Gold, as of December 31, 2023, the ESG information disclosure rates of household goods, packaging and printing, cultural and entertainment products, and papermaking reached 45.57%, 34.48%, 22.22%, and 70.83%, respectively, and the sustainable information disclosure rate of papermaking was far ahead.
