Presentation of the exhibition
The 8th Thailand International Maritime and Ship Show in 2024 will bring together leading companies from the global shipbuilding and shipping industries and their supporting industrial companies to participate in the grand event in Bangkok, Thailand. The event aims to bring together more than 8,000 industry elites and leading companies to discuss the ever-changing technical challenges facing Thailand’s shipbuilding and maritime industry, and to find solutions to adapt to the rapid development of the market.
Thailand Maritime Expo 2024 not only presents you with an excellent platform to gain an in-depth understanding of the cutting-edge trends in Thailand’s maritime and shipbuilding industry, but also provides you with valuable opportunities to penetrate emerging markets in Southeast Asia.
Looking back at the last exhibition, exhibitors from 15 countries and regions around the world gathered to showcase their latest technologies and products. Among them, the Chinese delegation is particularly eye-catching, with more than 30 companies participating in the event as agents, demonstrating the strong strength of China’s shipbuilding and maritime industry. At the same time, internationally renowned exhibitors such as PetroChina, China Classification Society and UNITHAI Shipyard of Thailand also appeared, adding color to the exhibition.
This exhibition will continue to maintain the high-level and professional characteristics of the previous exhibition, bringing together more internationally renowned enterprises and industrial elites to jointly promote the prosperity and development of the maritime industry in Thailand and even the world.

1. Thailand is located in the center of Southeast Asia, with a coastline of approximately 2,614.4 kilometers. It occupies a very important strategic geographical position and is an important intersection between Southeast Asia and South Asia, as well as between Eastern and Western cultures.
2. The country has 47 ports, including 26 seaports and 21 international ports. With the advancement of China’s “One Belt, One Road” and “Thailand 4.0” strategies, Thai ports have become important gateways for the China-ASEAN free trade zone to the rest of the world.
3. In order to create a regional shipbuilding and repair industry center, the Thai Industrial Association recently established its 41st industry group, the Shipbuilding and Repair Industry Club.
4. The Gulf of Thailand has the potential to build support ships for oil exploration. Thailand needs about 200 support ships every year. If the Thai government can promote the construction of about 100 of them in Thailand, the annual value created by the Thai shipbuilding industry will reach 30 billion baht.
