The 2025 Netherlands International Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition Solar Solutions (hereinafter referred to as the Netherlands Solar Exhibition) will be held at the Amsterdam Convention and Exhibition Center in the Netherlands from March 11 to 13. The exhibition is held once a year and is hosted by Solar Solutions International. It is one of the top ten solar photovoltaic exhibitions in Europe.
Solar Solutions, the Netherlands solar energy exhibition, is the largest solar energy trade show in northwest Europe and a dedicated B2B trade show. Involving the latest energy storage, smart products and evolving solar panel arrays, more than 500 exhibitors from China, South Africa, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Dubai, Germany, Singapore, the United States, Mexico, India and other countries participated in the three-day exhibition. The exhibition brings together professional energy information and the latest research and development results, providing a good communication and cooperation platform for photovoltaic equipment manufacturers, distributors, installers and end users.

Market Background
The Netherlands solar market is expected to grow at a CAGR of more than 10% during the forecast period. The solar photovoltaic industry is one of the most important parts of the Netherlands power generation industry. In October 2022, the Netherlands had 3.3 GW of new photovoltaic installed capacity at the end of the second quarter, bringing the total solar installed capacity to 17.6 GW. Over the past five years, the deployment of solar photovoltaics (PV) has accelerated due to cost reductions and feed-in tariffs. In order to achieve its goal of becoming climate neutral by 2040, the Dutch government has pledged that all electricity supply will come from renewable energy by 2030.
The total installed capacity of renewable energy in 2021 was 22,954 MW. Of the installed capacity of renewable energy, wind power accounted for 7,801 MW and hydropower accounted for 37 MW. In order to achieve the sustainable development goal of a higher share of renewable energy in electricity production, the government has implemented several policies in the country. As of 2021, the share of solar energy in the renewable energy power mix is about 29%, and this share is expected to grow significantly in the coming years due to effective government policies such as net metering programs.
In addition, in 2022, the Dutch government announced a budget of approximately US$13.8 billion for the SDE+ (Dutch Renewable Energy Support Program) program, which includes solar farms, wind farms, and hybrid renewable energy power plants with hydrogen production facilities.
