LONDON — Trade show giant RX is the new owner of the UK’s largest free data and analytics show, Big Data LDN, following its acquisition of 3rd Street Group Ltd.
The show, which will be held this autumn at London Olympia, will bring together 130 leading technology suppliers and consultants, 180 speakers in eight technical and business conference rooms and a complimentary on-site data consultancy service. It is known for its end-user-focused programme with evening meet-ups with attendees.
Big Data LDN will join RX UK’s portfolio and founder Bill Hammond will continue as the event’s director. Mr Hammond believes the big data and business analytics sector will only continue to grow. “One of the key issues in big data remains security and privacy and I look forward to working with RX UK’s existing Infosecurity brand to deliver even more value to our customers,” said Mr Hammond. “This will be an exciting period of growth for us and we can’t wait to get started.”
