LAS VEGAS— In June, Resorts World Las Vegas unveiled its Las Vegas Convention Center Loop passenger station, offering exhibitors and convention attendees fast, direct underground access to the neighboring Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in all-electric Teslas.
The LVCC Loop is a zero-emission underground public transportation system that seamlessly transports exhibitors and attendees to conventions and trade shows, connecting LVCC’s West Hall, which opened in 2021, to the existing North, Central and South Halls, and now also looping through Resorts World. The system is designed to transport more than 4,400 event attendees per hour across the LVCC campus.
“Today marks a historic moment not only for our resort, but for Las Vegas,” said Scott Sibella, president of Resorts World Las Vegas. “Our passenger terminal will make it easier than ever to visit our resort from the Las Vegas Convention Center and will ultimately connect us to key destinations throughout the city.”

The Resorts World Las Vegas passenger station is the first of 55 stations that are planned to form the Vegas Loop, which includes the LVCC Loop and aims to eventually carry thousands of passengers per hour throughout the resort corridor. Elon Musk’s Boring Company is building its Vegas Loop beneath the Strip’s main thoroughfare. The transit system, which is still being built in phases, is expected to receive future service expansions along the Strip and into downtown Las Vegas across 29 miles of tunnels.
“Resorts World Las Vegas is focused on transforming the way people experience Las Vegas, and this offering does just that,” Sibella said. “We are proud to partner with The Boring Company on what we see as the future of travel.”
Resorts World Las Vegas Passenger Terminal hours vary based on trade shows, events and the LVCC convention schedule.
“By directly connecting the Resorts World property to the Las Vegas Convention Center, show attendees and exhibitors will spend less time in traffic and more time networking and closing deals,” said Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). “The Resorts World station is the latest step in the development of this revolutionary new transportation solution in Las Vegas.”
The LVCC Loop opened in April 2021 for the Mecum Motorcycle Auction and has been used at all subsequent conventions and trade shows. At SEMA 2021, the LVCC Loop carried between 24,000 and 26,000 passengers per day. At CES 2022, the LVCC Loop carried between 14,000 and 17,000 passengers per day, with an average ride time of less than two minutes and an average wait time of less than 15 seconds.
