CHICAGO — PCMA continues to expand its reach in the Asia Pacific (APAC), Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Latin America (LATAM) regions.
Florence (Flo) Chua has been appointed Managing Director, Asia Pacific, with a focus on continuing the momentum of regional events, thought leadership, community development, education and content. Chua, who will be based in Singapore, has over 20 years of experience working with businesses and associations across the region. Karen Bolinger, who has served as Managing Director in a consulting capacity since April 2020 and launched the inaugural Convening APAC in Singapore earlier this year, will continue to work with Chua on special projects.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has given the business events industry a leap in adopting technology to facilitate connections and engagement,” Chua said. “I believe the industry will reach new heights by leveraging physical and digital opportunities to enable more connections across a wider geographic scope, deeper engagement, and more sustainable approaches than ever before.”
