MCI USA Launches New AI-Based Features in Its OneSystem

CHICAGO — MCI United States has launched new features for its customizable event hosting and registration platform, OneSystem PlusThe new features are driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and will provide a better return on investment for users of the platform, launching in December 2022.

MCI’s Plus Lead app includes a new feature that can help exhibitors analyze and qualify leads with constant updates as more behavioral data is collected throughout the event. Using OneSystem Plus’ GPT-based AI engine, attendee data is funneled and shared with exhibitors, who then receive a real-time summary of attendee interests. This score and summary allows exhibitors to compare attendee information to their own products and services to help evaluate and qualify the lead.

“An AI-powered lead qualification system can help identify high-quality leads more accurately and efficiently than manual methods,” said James Kelley, vice president of lead capture and cultivation at MCI USA. “This can translate into higher conversion rates and increased revenue for the company. As the business grows, an AI-powered lead qualification system can scale with the business and handle a higher volume of leads without requiring additional resources.”

More features coming in 2023 include a contact center that will be automated using ChatGPT. The contact center will be able to handle live chats and emails, while identifying the information attendees need throughout the show cycle.

“AI can provide immediate assistance to customers by answering frequently asked questions and resolving common issues,” Kelley said. “This can help reduce wait times and increase customer satisfaction. AI can help streamline the call center process and improve the customer experience. It can provide real-time language translation to help agents communicate with non-native speakers. This can help reduce language barriers and improve customer support for multilingual customers.”

OneSystem Plus will also use attendee data to make recommendations for programming and show visits, and will summarize the results and responses from post-event surveys to provide suggestions for improving the event. The platform will also be able to generate content ideas using attendee feedback to suggest programming and content for future events.
