PHILADELPHIA — With the goal of extending the value of a trade show experience by creating an omnichannel approach, Maritz Global Events launched First Person Experiences, a new technology solution, at IAEE Expo! Expo!.
Expo! Expo! attendees got a sneak peek at this unique 3D immersive experience that will increase ROI for exhibitors and trade show organizers.
Not only does this new technology increase the value of a live event, it also increases audience reach and creates additional revenue for exhibitors through a digital replica of a trade show, product launch or other event experience.
“Trade show organizers and event planners have struggled for years to increase exhibitor ROI and also deliver ROI for their events,” said Aaron Dorsey, vice president of product management at Maritz Global Events, during his keynote address. By digitally capturing the live physical show floor, including the exhibit space, booths and theatrical experiences, Maritz Global Events creates a digital replica of the entire event’s 3D environment, accessible at any time via the show organizer’s website. The show floor or booth can then be relaunched after the live event, allowing attendees to virtually walk the floor, interact with exhibitors and content, and conduct business in real-time. Exhibitors can also extend the reach of their booth to those who did not physically attend the show.
“First-person experiences not only enhance the value of the show, they increase it,” Dorsey said. “Plus, they’re available 365 days a year.”
