After the successful lifting of epidemic prevention and control policies, the 2024 expo attracted many visitors and exhibitors all achieved impressive results. More than 80% of the enterprises clearly indicated that they would participate again. The expo is large in scale, with a total area of 30,000 square meters, bringing together 863 outstanding enterprises from 41 countries around the world.
The exhibitor list is strong and covers a number of internationally renowned exhibition groups, such as China, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Germany, Switzerland, Cambodia and the United States, each bringing unique industrial charm and cutting-edge technology. It is particularly worth mentioning that there are nearly 200 Chinese exhibitors, which fully demonstrates the prosperity and development of domestic industries. In addition, the Taiwan Water Association also organized a professional delegation of more than 130 people, and relevant domestic industry associations also sent delegations to visit and study.
**ASIAWATER 2026**, this event will be held from April 7th to 9th, 2026. This exhibition will continue to focus on the latest technologies, key issues and challenges of the water treatment industry, and is committed to promoting new technologies and concepts, and creating competitive products and services with technology, environment, environmental protection and energy saving as the core.
As one of the ASEAN countries with the closest trade ties with China, Malaysia’s use and protection of water resources is particularly important. The UN report highlights that the economic engine of many countries around the world is closely linked to the agricultural sector, with 60 to 90 percent of water resources used for agriculture. It is expected that by 2050, as global food demand increases, water consumption will increase by at least 19 percent. In underdeveloped countries, up to 97 percent of the rural population lacks running water, and 14 percent have to rely on surface water from rivers, ponds or lakes for their livelihoods. The efficient use of water resources is not only linked to improving the quality of life, but is also closely linked to social development such as education. According to statistics, 2.5 billion people in the world do not have access to safe water, 70% of whom are from Asia.
ASIAWATER 2026 sincerely invites you to participate in this grand event and explore the future of water treatment industry together.
