Korea Machinery Show-Exhibition Introduction
The Korea (Pusan) International Machinery Exhibition (BUTECH), referred to as the Korea Machinery Exhibition, is held every two years and is an influential industrial equipment exhibition in Korea. The last exhibition was held at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center in Korea, with an exhibition area of 35,000 square meters, 524 exhibitors and 72,419 industry visitors.
BUTECH, the Busan Machinery Exhibition in South Korea, is jointly organized by the Busan City Government, the Busan Machinery Industry Association, the Busan Mold Industry Association, and the Korea Machinery Industry Federation. It is Asia’s leading industrial machinery industry exhibition.
This year’s Korea Machinery Exhibition (BUTECH) will promote the integrated development of Korean IT technology and machinery by displaying cutting-edge machinery and equipment, focusing on displaying cutting-edge CNC machine tools, high-end laser cutting/welding machinery, high-end machining equipment, factory intelligent solutions, robots, CNC machine tool parts, new material applications, 3D printers and other high-end products.
The organizing committee of the Korea Machinery Industry Exhibition specially invited institutions stationed in Korea from Germany, the United States, Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Peru, China, Turkey, Finland and other countries to hold various forms of online matchmaking meetings. It is expected that the number of professional buyers from home and abroad will reach 130,000.
Busan, Ulsan and Changwon are important machinery industrial bases in South Korea’s southeast industrial circle, accounting for 53% of South Korea’s total machinery industry output. The machinery industry is the core foundation of South Korea’s overall industry. In 2021, the total export volume was US$59.6 billion, and the total import volume of machinery products was US$32.95 billion, of which US$7.33 billion was imported from China. Exports showed an upward trend for the first time, and China has remained an influential import market for South Korean machine tools for five consecutive years.
