Jakarta, September 25, 2024 – Koelnmesse and Traya Eksibisi Internasional are pleased to announce a strategic cooperation to launch the Indonesian International Furniture Manufacturing and Interiors Exhibition powered by EISENWARENMESSE and the Indonesia International Furniture and Interiors Exhibition in conjunction with IFMAC WOODMAC, the leading event for the Indonesian woodworking industry. The concept replicates the successful model in Guangzhou, namely the China International Furniture Fair (CIFF)/interzum guangzhou co-organized with the China International Furniture Production Equipment and Ingredients Fair (CIFM/interzum guangzhou).
The cooperation aims to integrate and hold three major exhibitions at the same time, showcasing the entire furniture production value chain under one roof and accompanied by a dedicated trade fair for the hardware industry. The move will provide industry professionals with a comprehensive platform to explore innovations, trends and technologies in furniture production, woodworking machinery and hardware at the convenience of one location.
An Interzum showcase was first exhibited at the Indonesian Furniture and Design Exhibition (IFFINA) in Indonesia from September 14 to 17, 2024, and was a complete success. Participating brands include blum, Haefele, American Hardwood Export Council, Cyberlock, etc. The success of the showcase prompted the format to be further expanded into a full trade show, named interzum jakarta. The Indonesian International Furniture Manufacturing and Interior Decoration Exhibition will be launched as a complete trade show in 2025 at the same time as the Indonesian International Hardware Fair (International Hardware Fair Indonesia).
The show is expected to attract more than 20,000 attendees, including industry professionals, exhibitors and visitors from around the region.
