LAS VEGAS—Kitchen and Bathroom Industry Show (KBIS) 2023, North America’s largest trade show for the global home design and construction community not only beats its pre-2020 numbers, but also sees a significant number of new attendees registering for the show, which takes place January 31-February 2 in Las Vegas.
KBIS, produced by Emerald in collaboration with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), showcases the latest industry products, trends and technologies from hundreds of exhibitors. One month before arrival, there is 475 exhibitors, including more than 100 new to the show, and a significant percentage of participants – 44% – are also new to KBIS.
Show organizers believe several factors are contributing to the increase in new first-time registrations for KBIS 2023.
“After an incredibly successful event in 2022 with some of our highest NPS scores in KBIS history, we saw growing interest in a return to face-to-face events and emphasized the value of connections, education and product exploration in our marketing outreach,” Brian Pagel, Executive Vice President at EMeralda, said. “Additionally, our long-standing co-location with the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders’ Show is set to return to Las Vegas for the first time since 2020. Over the past decade, this collaboration has created one of the world’s largest and most influential event platforms for residential design and construction professionals.”

Pagel also highlights the NKBA’s international reach. “While domestic interest has surpassed pre-pandemic levels, their efforts to engage with the global design community and the power of peer-to-peer recommendations within our strong social communities have been important factors in our success.”
These co-hosted events are part of what is known as Design and Construction Week (DCW) and are expected to attract a combined total of 90,000 attendees. The National Hardware Show, Las Vegas Winter Market and International Surface Event (TISE) will also run concurrently with DCW for the first time.
