Presentation of the exhibition

The Russian international exhibition of the perfume and cosmetic industry INTERCHARM 2024 will be held at the Crocus Expo international exhibition center in Moscow, Russia. This is the largest event in the perfume and cosmetic market in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe, uniting all beauty industries. In the coming years, the main directions and trends of the industry development will be born here. Representatives of 83 regions of Russia will take part in the 2022 exhibition. The exhibition is an important element in supporting the Russian perfume and cosmetic industry. The Russian perfume and cosmetic market will reach 7 trillion rubles ($10 billion) in 2021, up 30% in the first half of 2022.

2023 exhibition review:

From October 25 to 28, representatives of the beauty industry gathered at the 30th International Exhibition of Perfumery and Cosmetics in Moscow. About 65,000 professional visitors (dealers, wholesalers, retailers, beauty salon owners and experts from all over Russia and neighboring countries) took part in the exhibition, along with visitors from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Turkey. Business ties were established with more than 1,200 representatives of exhibitors from China and Taiwan, the Republic of Korea, the United Arab Emirates, France, India, Iran, Hungary, Thailand, the United Kingdom and Pakistan.

The entire supply chain of the beauty industry is exposed, from the raw materials and ingredients used by beauty brands to the laser equipment used in clinics. InterCHARM is as diverse as the beauty industry itself, covering not only lipsticks, creams or perfumes, but also raw materials and packaging for cosmetic production, equipment for clinics, tools for hairdressers and thousands of other important things.

As a leading event of the Russian beauty industry, InterCHARM has once again proven its incredible efficiency and practicality: more than 50% of visitors hold managerial positions in the beauty industry, and more than 80% of visitors are decision-makers.

Russian brands and manufacturing continue to actively develop. The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade provides significant subsidies for its development, which will lead to increased demand for raw materials and packaging from China, India and Turkey. Consequently, the demand for production equipment will also increase. In addition, with the rapid development of the Russian beauty salon industry, foreign equipment for beauty salons and clinics will be in high demand.

During the four days of the exhibition, each participant was able to appreciate the importance of organizing industry events and exchanging expertise between market players.

At this year’s show, more than 400 Chinese companies presented their latest product lines in various categories. Russian visitors were particularly attracted by Leffen and DREAME hair dryers, as well as hair care brand Zhaoqing Kaiqiao Technology Co., Ltd. and raw material manufacturer Hunan Siloc Silicone Co., Ltd.

Visitors and customers were also impressed by the products presented by 62 Turkish companies. They appreciated the wide selection of Turkish perfumes, fragrances, skin care and home beauty products, as well as bath and body products presented at Repur Kozmeti̇k San. They are also attracted by the wide range of perfumes and fragrances offered by Eyup Sabri and PEREJA, as well as the excellent hair care ranges of MORFOSE and KIRMIZIGUL (REDIST) companies.

This year, 22 Korean companies participated in the exhibition, including innovative beauty and cosmetics manufacturer SowonBio, facial and body care manufacturer MA:NYO, as well as leading beauty and aesthetic medicine companies JDBio and Genoss.

During the exhibition’s business project activities, more than 2,500 delegates and members of the public learned about the current state of the industry, business development tools and emerging trends.

InterCHARM maintains its position as a leading hub for professionals, providing an opportunity to find solutions to existing problems and seek inspiration for important discoveries. The event was covered by major federal media channels, a long-standing tradition.

On October 25-26, the Retail Connect Summit, a two-day global business event, kicked off a networking program and international negotiations. The event attracted 40 Russian retail chains, which held over a thousand meetings with suppliers, breaking records. Retail connectivity business initiatives are an important growth driver for the Russian industry. It aims to optimize resources and explore opportunities for rapid growth in the market.
