LONDON — Informa Markets Fashion has a new name: MMGNET Group (pronounced “Magnet”), a new parent brand comprised of its existing B2B fashion events brands — MAGIC, COTERIE, PROJECT and SOURCING at MAGIC.
The new parent brand’s mission is to unify and deepen its offerings through exclusive content programs, research-based market insights and seasonal trend forecasts, said Kelly Helfman, president of MMGNET Group. “We are always exploring new markets and opportunities for our clients. MMGNET offers more live touchpoints throughout the fashion calendar, new digital marketing opportunities that expand reach and awareness, and a platform to innovate, pilot and test new formats and approaches to our live event products that meet current and future industry and client needs.”
In a Yahoo Finance article, Helfman describes this process as “matchmaking,” in which the company creates “a network of connections outside of traditional market cycles.” While MMGNET plans to continue its live events, it will also work to “support the industry in a way that fosters mutual benefit going forward.”
The four pillars of MMGNET are: Connection and Opportunity, Actionable Industry and Market Insights, Trend Inspiration and Forecasting, and Profitable Responsibility.

“We see partnerships as a great way to enhance everything we do and how we serve our customers,” Helfman said. “We’re going to look to expand our partnerships to a higher, more strategic level to reach new audiences and expand our communities. We’re also looking at product partnerships to help us deliver more value to both our brands and our retailers.”
Another new addition is MMGNET, a B2B online resource for the fashion industry. In addition to showcasing brands and their event calendars, the website is rich in content. An Industry Insights section features a 2024 U.S. Fashion Consumer Outlook Report, a 2023 Sourcing Report, and a 2023 Sustainability Report, while the Trends section focuses on spring/summer 2025 material sourcing and spring/summer 2024 and fall/winter 2024-2025 trends in women’s and men’s apparel. Users can sign up to receive the latest research directly via email. The News section includes the latest fashion happenings.
