Freeman launches report’impact focused on its employees,

DALLASFreeman, the leading trade show and event company, has released its report’2023 annual impact highlighting its initiatives focused on’positive impact in three key areas: its people, its principles and the planet.

Every day, we must set our people up for success, create a culture of results-driven principles centered on integrity, and continually evolve as an industry to bring new ideas and perspectives to the marketplace. This will help position us for the future by staying true to who we’ve always been and what we’ve always done: connecting people in meaningful ways,” said Janet Dell, President and COO of Freeman.

Dell will take over as CEO from Freeman on July 1, when Bob Priest-Heck retires.

“As a leader in events, we have always been at the forefront of our industry, setting the standard for the next generation,” said Priest-Heck. “This requires us to always find new ways to improve and do more for the communities we are a part of and for the planet. The report of’Impact Freeman focuses on these three key areas with the aim of always’strive to do and’be better :

  • People: Putting people (employees, customers, partners and participants) at the center of everything Freeman does, which translates into fair and ethical treatment for all.
  • Principles: Create a culture of integrity and commit to performing work ethically and safely.
  • Planet: Bringing new ideas and perspectives to the market through events while minimizing the’impact to support a healthier planet.

Freeman’s work touches every aspect of the’industry of the’event and, as a founding member of the’Net Zero Carbon Events (NZCE) industry initiative, it’is committed to working individually and collaboratively to achieve the’objective of’be net zero.

Initiatives to achieve this goal include reducing consumption and transitioning to more sustainable fuels, encouraging rental structures, increasing recycled and recyclable content, and expanding its donation and recycling programs.

SAP Sapphire, l’SAP’s flagship event, which attracts more than 10,000 attendees each year, is an example of its progress.’last year, l’Freeman factory’Orlando worked with SAP to recycle and reuse 100 tons of carpet and upholstery.
