SAO PAULO — The upcoming Fenasucro & Agrocana (International Bioenergy Fair) is leading the way in sustainability.
The fair, organized by CEISE Br and promoted and organized by RX Brazil, is the largest and only event in the world exclusively dedicated to the entire bioenergy production chain. It brings together every year professionals from the sugar/energy, food and beverage, pulp and paper, transport and logistics sectors, as well as energy distributors and traders from Brazil and dozens of other countries around the world.
All the energy consumed during the four days of the event, which will take place from August 15 to 18 at the Zanini Events Center in Sertãozinho, will be produced from sugarcane biomass. This clean and 100% renewable energy, created through a partnership with Toniello Energia, an energy trader of the Viralcool group, will also allow for a significant reduction in costs.

Among other actions to promote sustainability, the fair will award the Green Energy Seal certificates of UNICA (Brazilian Association of Sugar Industry and Bioenergy), which are issued to facilities that meet energy efficiency criteria and sustainable agricultural and industrial practices. In addition, Fenasucro & Agrocana is installing five charging stations for electric and hybrid cars, which can be used free of charge by participants.
This year, the show is expected to attract 42,000 visitors. Representatives from more than 800 brands will be present to present equipment, services and the latest technologies and trends in the sector.
At the macro level, by using 100% clean energy for the show, Fenasucro & Agrocana is promoting Brazil as a global supplier of bioelectricity, at the ideal time for the opening of the free energy market from 2024.
