SAINT-LOUIS – Creative communications group DRPG and Maritz Global Events have formed a new global alliance: “More Than Experience”.
This new alliance between the two companies, which have been working together for six years, will place greater emphasis on the delegate experience and on delivering memorable and lasting solutions.
Drawing on behavioral science, research, and knowledge in communication methodology and design, DRPG and Maritz Global Events will help organizations navigate the new post-pandemic realities of engaging key stakeholders.
“The pandemic has forever changed the landscape of our industry, and our clients are wondering what’s next. They want and need something new and different as they are expected to push boundaries, justify budgets and increase the power of their event investments,” said David Peckinpaugh, president, Maritz Global Events. “With this creative alliance, clients can expect an even more thoughtful approach that puts the audience and the outcome at the heart of the solution.”
Dale Parmenter, Founder and CEO of DRPG, said: “With More Than Experience, we are challenging the way our industry works. It’s a new way of thinking about communication, a new way of working. We want to shake things up by making possible everything the market has told us it wants more of.”
According to Greg Bogue, corporate vice president, Brand, Experience & Innovation Ecosystems at Maritz, collaboration is key. “Every experience is about the journey, not just the destination,” he said, explaining the eight distinct phases of an event experience.
These include the announcement, attracting the right audience, anticipation and creating excitement, arrival and entry into the event experience, engagement throughout the event, the all-important ending, and the final phase, which is about extending the value beyond the live experience.
“This alliance allows us to focus on experiences like never before, providing our customers with useful, scalable, holistic and personalized solutions to meet their needs,” Peckinpaugh added.
