NEW YORK- COTERIE, a leading industry connector for contemporary and advanced contemporary womenswear markets organized by Informa Markets Fashion, has released its 2022 event calendar with newly enhanced hybrid events. Using AI-powered technology for a more personalized and efficient user experience, this new hybrid approach has been developed over the past year.

COTERIE’s new digital platform mimics a consumer’s shopping experience. Participating brands have uploaded their product catalogs and contact information to the platform. Retailers can then search for specific brands to see what products they carry, or search for specific products to see which brands carry that item. This allows retailers to further personalize their shopping and more efficiently find the specific products they are looking for.

The more shoppers use the digital platform, the more it is able to present the exact products that might interest them. In addition, products are added frequently, which allows for an “endless shelf” of products and brands.

COTERIE New York will return to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from February 27 to March 1, 2022 and again from September 18 to 20, 2022. The New York editions will feature new brands and bestsellers from categories including advanced and contemporary apparel, footwear, accessories and beauty, as well as TO MODIFY – COTERIE’s advanced international collections. The September event will also welcome the return of destinationCOTERIE’s highly curated swimwear and resortwear community. To further facilitate a clear and intuitive on-site experience for shoppers, the February and September editions of COTERIE New York will also feature “curations” such as minority-owned and sustainable brands, which will be displayed throughout the show floor to highlight new areas of commercial focus as retailers look to meet updated consumer demands and diversify their inventory offerings.

Top-notch educational programming featuring prominent industry talent and new voices, plus exclusive activations and elite networking events, will be featured in the February and September editions of COTERIE.

Beyond the live event, the accompanying digital platform will also be available before, during and after the February and September show dates, further expanding discovery, purchasing and connection opportunities for brands and buyers.

Offering a more holistic approach to today’s evolving market needs with more targeted and unique discovery journeys and broader connection opportunities, the product-driven, AI-powered COTERIE digital platform will showcase a variety of advanced contemporary international and domestic women’s brands and products, with available products continuously updated and assortments tailored to users’ personalized interests.
