ORLANDO — Full-service video production company CNTV has named John Wilson as vice president of business development for the Northeast.
Wilson is an award-winning journalist with decades of industry experience, having led more than 100 team members as Vice President/News Director at CBS3, Philadelphia, and then served as Interim News Director at TEGNA Inc. Media Corporation.
He then joined CNTV as Content Manager, most recently leading the on-site coverage of ISPOR Europe 2023. He orchestrated the coverage from the planning phase to post-production, resulting in an in-depth digital programme.

In his new role, Wilson will drive company growth, cultivate partnerships and expand CNTV’s presence in Washington, D.C., New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia.

The appointment comes as CNTV seeks to expand its presence in the U.S. Northeast region.

“Many of our nonprofit clients are based in Washington, D.C., and our for-profit clients are based in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia, and with John being based in Pennsylvania, it makes sense for our growth and expansion going forward,” said Carrie Ferenac, CNTV co-founder and president. “John will be attending the PCMA, IAEE and ASAE chapter meetings.”
CNTV is also working to strengthen its partnerships. Last year, for example, it created a strategic partnership with Cobalt Event Studios, an innovative event solutions agency. It has also partnered with the IAEE and SISO to create content. “We plan to continue on this path and add partnerships,” Ferenac said. “It’s all about collaborating to provide the best possible service to our clients.”
