LONDON — CloserStill Media has agreed to acquire UKI Media & Events, a UK-based company that operates trade shows, conferences and specialist media for the transport sector internationally. The acquisition enables CloserStill to create its new Future Transport and Infrastructure group and expand into the US, European and Asian markets.
According to UKI Media & Events, the company organises 17 specialist exhibitions, 12 conferences and the International Engine + Powertrain of the Year Awards, and produces 13 international magazines.
In the US, UKI Media & Events’ portfolio of events includes the IVT Off-Highway Vehicle Technology Conference & Expo, Automotive Testing Expo, Automotive Interiors Expo, Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo North America and the Package Fulfillment, Logistics and Delivery Expo. The company also organises exhibitions outside the transport sector in association with divisions of the United Nations.

CloserStill Media manages its portfolios, which include learning and HR technology, medical and healthcare, technology, veterinary medicine and hosted buyer events, in major cities across seven countries, including London, Berlin, Madrid, New York, Las Vegas, Hong Kong and Singapore.

UKI Media & Events’ current staff of over 90 employees will remain in Dorking, England, where the company is headquartered.
