LONDON – CloserStill Media acquired a majority stake in the Hydrogen Technology Exhibition And Carbon Capture Technology Show events in the United States and Germany. The two co-located events are additions to the company’s new Future Transport and Infrastructure group, which was created with its acquisition of UK Media & Events.
The Hydrogen Technology Expo and Carbon Capture Technology Expo are held annually in Houston, Texas in June and Bremen, Germany in September. Trans-Global Events launched the show series in 2021 in Germany and then expanded the trade shows to North America in 2022.

Since their launch, both shows have seen significant growth, with exhibitors increasing by 223% in North America and 178% in Europe for the 2023 shows. This growth is driven by the industry’s increasing focus and investment in decarbonization.

For its second consecutive year, the American show welcomed nearly 5,000 visitors and more than 300 exhibitors. The third edition of the European show, which will be held from September 27 to 28, 2023, is sold out and will have more than 525 exhibitors and will attract approximately 8,000 visitors.
The North American show will take place June 26-27, 2024 in Houston at the NRG Center.
