Clarion Events Launches UCX USA Communications Show

SHELTON, Connecticut — Clarion Events announced the creation of UCX United Statesa new event in the unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) industry. The inaugural event aims to connect and revolutionize technology at work and with customers.

“We spent over a year conducting validation research with potential attendees, end users and sponsors to determine if there was a gap in meeting their needs, whether it was in event design or simply the challenges they face in their daily lives or going forward,” said Angela Harar, Portfolio Director, Clarion Events. “We identified that there is a gap for end users to engage with their peers in meaningful conversations. For sponsors, getting quality conversations with qualified buyers is a challenge. We have several opportunities to address these needs through agnostic thought leadership and peer-led roundtables, coupled with the ability to engage directly with experts in specific core competencies.”

UCX USA will be held at the Fairmont in Austin, Texas, from September 13-14, 2023, and will bring together more than 40 companies specializing in customer and employee experience technologies. Since 2011, Clarion Events has owned UCX Europe, another communications and collaboration event that attracts more than 8,000 attendees and 100 exhibitors from global brands.

While the new US event will share similarities with the UK events, including hands-on training and customizable booths, UCX USA will offer sponsorship packages to suit all budgets, meet-ups, one-on-one meetings and the addition of a world-class Advisory Board and Training Task Force. UCX USA will also feature the introduction of Ask the eXperts, which gives attendees access to analysts, consultants and industry leaders to address their specific needs.

Approved by the Alliance for Interactive Multimedia and Collaborative Communications and supported by The Society of Communication Technology Consultants, AV User Group And UC todayUCX USA will attract a qualified audience and, with the guidance of their Advisory Board from key end users, analysts, supporters and suppliers organizational challenges for communications and collaboration professionals.

“Research conducted with hundreds of decision makers and stakeholders involved in the purchase and integration of UC&C solutions enables these events to perfectly address today’s biggest organizational challenges, which in turn attracts a highly qualified and engaged audience for our sponsors,” said Harar. “Within a month, 75% of our European exhibitors have already booked a spot at next year’s show and, in the process, have asked to launch their business in the US – something different, experimental and guaranteed to add value.”

UCX USA, aimed at IT decision makers, has already received early sponsorship commitments from BIAMPwhich provides innovative audiovisual solutions, Verizon BlueJeans, a video conferencing platform and a provider of audio solutions and products JSC, with AudioCodes, Symitry Yealink and Barco.

The event will host 50 speakers and over 500 meetings, and over 600 companies will be represented, while providing a platform for brand makers, business leaders, startups, technology companies, investors and analysts to learn, network and grow.

“It is important for participants to experience multiple moments of wonder and actionable learnings, develop new relationships and build community, and participate in meetings alongside hands-on demonstrations with leading UC&C vendors to find the solutions needed to successfully impact their careers and organizations,” Harar said.
