The Busan International Maritime Exhibition in South Korea is one of the major industrial exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region and one of the most important professional exhibitions in the shipbuilding and maritime fields. It is held every two years and has been successfully held 19 times. so far. The exhibition is jointly sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Energy, the Busan City Government, the Korea Shipbuilding Association, the Korea Marine Equipment Association, the Korean exhibition company K.Fairs Ltd. and Reed Exhibitions. It is expected that there will be 810 exhibitors and 45,000 visitors in this exhibition, with an exhibition area of 39,200 square meters.

Korean-built oil tankers, container ships, liquefied natural gas ships, floating production and storage vessels, high-speed ships, ultra-large ships and luxury passenger ships are all leading the way. At the same time, South Korea is actively promoting the upgrading of the shipbuilding parts industry, expanding exports and comprehensively improving the technical level and production capacity of supporting industries.
