Presentation of the exhibition
This exhibition is the only marketing platform for the BPLX industry of Bangladesh
Electricity is the main source of energy for most economic activities in the country. As of January 2017, Bangladesh’s total installed power generation capacity (including captive power) was 15,351 MW. In 2015, 92% of the urban population and 67% of the rural population had access to electricity as a source of light. On average, 77.9% of Bangladesh’s population has access to electricity. Bangladesh will need around 34,000 MW of electricity by 2030 to support its economic growth of over 7%.
Problems in Bangladesh’s power sector include high losses in the system, delays in the completion of new power plants, inefficiency of power plants, unstable power supply, power theft, power outages and a lack of funds for the maintenance of power plants. Overall, China’s power plants have been unable to meet system demand over the past decade. As a result, the power generation and lighting industries are facing more change at an unprecedented pace. As policies and technologies evolve, the market favors proactive and informed people. This is why the Power and Lighting Expo is of paramount importance. BPLX 2025 provides a platform for all power generation professionals to meet, network and solve critical issues facing the power and lighting industries.
BPLX Bangladesh International Power & Lighting Expo 2025 extends a platform for your organization to face the decision makers who reserve and purchase billions of dollars for their plans and multiple projects in the power generation sector. The 10th BPLX 2025 exhibition will provide exhibitors with the opportunity for one-on-one discussions to exhibit and present their products and solutions in an interactive manner. The participation of international exhibitors from the potential export zones of Bangladesh could provide good opportunities for our energy players to look beyond the national peripherals. Additionally, the exhibition will engage audiences through 360-degree marketing campaigns that will create millions of advertising impressions in print, direct mail, email, electronic media and more.
