Tarsus Group acquired BizBash in 2019 and merged the media group with Connecta leading events company in the meetings industry, impacting more than 1.5 million meeting and event professionals in North America. Connect has been the primary event sales outlet for both brands, continuing to deliver events for the corporate, association, specialty and sports markets. However, BizBash has continueto offer independent and combined events with Connect to also serve the markets.
BizBash has always covered sports with editorial and marketing initiatives and with BizBash Sports, the company is taking the next step by harnessing the power of its merger with Connect, leveraging the combined brand presence of both companies among event professionals to achieve a higher level of engagement in this segment of the event industry. Calling the event BizBash Sports is a signal that the company is more intentional about reaching this specific audience to leverage the potential it has to maximize value for the Tarsus community in the future.
“In launching BizBash Sports, BizBash builds on two decades of editorial coverage highlighting creative integrations between elite sporting events and major brands, including brand activations at the NFL Draft, US Open, NBA All-Star Game and WrestleMania.
