Visit Atlantic City Vice President of Sales, Sandi Harvey

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Gary Musich has returned to Visit Atlantic City as vice president of sales, a position he left in 2018 for a sabbatical. Sandi Harvey assumed that role when Musich left and held the position before retiring at the end of April.

Of his decision to return, Musich said, “I was ready to change my life. It’s a very personal reason to come back, and when this opportunity presented itself, all of these things in my life aligned. I missed this job; you forget how fulfilling it is.”

Musich’s return comes at a time when investment in Atlantic City’s infrastructure and properties is booming. Earlier this year, New Jersey senators announced $4.8 million in federal funding for infrastructure at Atlantic City International Airport. In late 2021, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City announced it would reinvest a minimum of $20 million in capital improvements, and Ocean Casino Resort announced a $75 million real estate reinvestment for 2022.

“I’ve seen a lot of investment come back into the city, new products and other things. I’m bringing new thinking on where we need to go to increase the number of shows and events that are held in the city and at our convention center,” Musich said. “The trends there are growing and have changed dramatically since I left the industry. It’s not just gaming-centric, the convention industry is now in the game. It’s created a new excitement and opportunity to showcase Atlantic City as a premier event destination. People want to do business where others are doing business. For example, Caesars Entertainment is investing $400 million in its properties this year and our convention center recently completed renovations to the public space.”

Harvey, who took over as vice president of sales following Musich’s departure, spent decades in Atlantic City, New Jersey, promoting the destination while working in the tourism and hospitality industry. Prior to Visit Atlantic City, which was known as Meet AC before its rebranding in January 2023, Harvey worked at the city’s Sands Hotel & Casino and joined the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority in 1995. Working her way up the sales ladder, Harvey was promoted to Vice President of Sales for Visit Atlantic City, Senior Sales Manager in 2018.

“Gary is going to do a great job,” Harvey said. “I have enjoyed my time at Visit Atlantic City. This industry is simply incredible and I know I will truly miss seeing customers and meeting my peers. I plan on enjoying life and finding a new way to make a difference in this world.”
