Vietnam Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition Ho Chi Minh City, VTG, is the most famous and largest textile and garment trade and exchange platform in Vietnam. It is also the only textile and garment industry exhibition in Vietnam recognized by UFI (International Exhibitor Quality Assurance).
Vietnam is the country with the second fastest economic development in the world. Labor costs, environmental protection requirements and international export tariffs are all better than in other countries. With the support of the Vietnamese Government, Vietnam’s textile and garment industry has developed rapidly in recent years. Vietnam has recently signed free trade agreements with the Eurasian Union, the European Union and South Korea. Now, large domestic and foreign companies are increasing their investment in Vietnam and establishing new textile and garment factories. The demand for various machinery and fabrics for textile and garment manufacturing has increased significantly. Vietnam’s textile and garment exports reached US$28 billion in 2017, accounting for 17% of Vietnam’s total merchandise exports during this period. Vietnam will achieve the planned target of exporting textiles worth US$35 billion in 2018.
