The ICMCM (Chinese Medicine Exhibition) Hong Kong Modern Chinese Medicine and Health Products Exhibition and Conference will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from August 15 to 16 for two days. The exhibition attracts industry insiders from all over the world every year to communicate, negotiate and learn about the latest developments in the industry.
Huang Sihui, deputy director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, pointed out that Hong Kong’s Chinese medicine industry is booming and has become a meeting point for China’s medicine and health product industries. In the first half of 2014, Hong Kong’s Chinese medicine exports increased by 8.5 percent over the same period last year, totaling HK$1.7 billion.
