Thailand Industrial Exhibition-Exhibition Introduction
The Thailand International Machinery Manufacturing Exhibition, referred to as the Thailand Industrial Exhibition, is held annually and is a popular machinery exhibition and industrial equipment exhibition in Southeast Asia. The last exhibition was held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center, with an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters, 2,100 exhibitors and 55,580 visitors.
The Thailand Industrial Exhibition was founded in 1993 and is organized by the British Reed Exhibitions Group. It has been successfully held for more than 20 sessions and is very popular in Southeast Asia. The Thailand Industrial Exhibition mainly focuses on the two fields of mechanical manufacturing and mechanical equipment. It is highly professional and has representative technical standards, reflecting the level of development of mechanical manufacturing and mechanical equipment in Asia.
The Thailand Machinery Exhibition showcases the widest range of machinery and technology, empowering 85,000 potential buyers to find answers on how to best leverage the power and capabilities of technology and digitalization. The Expo consists of five international technology exhibitions: “InterMold Thailand”, “InterPlas Thailand”, “Automotive Manufacturing”, “Assembly & Automation Technology”, and “Surface & Coatings”. It is a leading event in ASEAN, featuring machinery and technology for manufacturing and supporting industries. It also offers conferences and concurrent events to deliver new knowledge and expand business opportunities for participants.
In recent years, Thailand has actively participated in regional economic cooperation, joined the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Organization and the ASEAN Free Trade Area, actively participated in the water and land transportation cooperation between China, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar on the upper reaches of the Mekong River, and promoted the “Economic Growth Triangle” process in the adjacent areas of Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. With the development of manufacturing and service industries, especially the rise of tourism, Thailand’s economic structure has undergone major changes, gradually transforming from an agricultural country that mainly exported agricultural products to an emerging industrial country. In the trade between China and Thailand, machinery and equipment occupy a major position in Thailand’s imports from China.
