Hannover Industrial Fair-Exhibition Introduction
The Hannover Industrial Fair in Germany, abbreviated as the Hannover Industrial Fair, is held annually and is a popular industrial exhibition and industrial fair in the world. The last German Industrial Fair was held at the Hannover Exhibition Center with an exhibition area of 230,000 square meters, 6,500 exhibitors and 75,000 industry visitors.
The Hannover Industrial Fair was founded in August 1947 and is held annually at the Hannover International Exhibition Center in Germany. It is recognized as the most influential industrial exhibition in the world. The German Industrial Fair is also one of the three largest industrial exhibitions in the world.
Hannover Messe will host more than 80 conferences and forums covering industrial transformation and other major trends and topics in the industrial sector. Hannover Messe has developed into a globally recognized brand event. In order to further enhance the brand influence of the exhibition, we will no longer use sub-brands such as CeMAT, Digital Factory or IAMD for exhibition promotion in the future. Our new exhibition plan will clearly focus on key themes in each core area, reflecting the role of Hannover Messe in promoting industrial transformation.
Hannover Industrial Fair will exhibit the following six categories: Automation, Power and Drive: covering factory, process and energy automation; electromechanical power transmission and fluid power; robotics; industrial sensor technology and image processing; transformers; energy management; logistics automation and warehousing technology. Dr. Kochler mentioned: “Automation plays a fundamental role in promoting the deep integration of industries. The automation-related content of Hannover Industrial Fair is mainly exhibited in the east and south of the entire venue, covering all the key elements to promote industrial transformation, while ensuring the optimization of audience flow and providing influential convenience for audiences and exhibitors seeking solutions.
The core trends highlighted at Hannover this year included the continued convergence of IT and mechanical engineering, industrial IT platforms and other new business models, and the direct impact of artificial intelligence on the factory environment. Exhibitors in the Automation Hall highlighted drive technology and fluid power as key drivers of digitalization and integrated manufacturing. The close integration of production and logistics was the main topic on the CeMAT show floor – it was obvious that a digital factory cannot function without intelligent logistics systems. Product highlights included industrial trucks, autonomous vehicles, order picking robots and complete logistics systems. Other trade fair highlights included exoskeletons, AR goggles and, most importantly, robots in assistance systems. Agile manufacturing and intralogistics rely on autonomous transport systems, drones and intelligent personal assistants (IPAs). The trend towards human-robot collaboration continues unabated.
