Getting ready for a reunion you won’t want to miss, says trade show director

CHICAGO — Trade shows are back and so are we! Time is running out for trade show organizers and event managers to nominate their events for the next class of the Trade Show Executive (TSE) Gold 100, which will recognize the largest trade shows held in the United States in 2021.

The registration period will close on May 26, 2022.

Independent and nonprofit trade show organizers have until midnight to submit their results for the 2021 edition of the show. Gold 100 winners will be the guests of honor at the 2022 TSE Gold 100 Awards & Summit, September 21-23, at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, California.

It’s easy to submit an entry to the Gold 100 to be considered for this prestigious ranking. Entry forms have already been sent to 2021 trade show event organizers with the statistics most likely to earn a spot on the Gold 100. Trade show winners will be determined based on the size of their exhibit space in net square feet (nsf).

The Gold 100 is open to in-person trade shows held in the United States in 2021. We particularly encourage shows with 75,000 NSF or more to submit an application.

Registrations will be counted shortly after the deadline. Event management teams will then be notified by the Trade Show Executive so they can begin planning their travel to the beautiful American Riviera in Santa Barbara to attend the festive event in September.

The 2022 TSE Gold 100 Awards & Summit will be a true reunion. We’re identifying ways to celebrate, recognize the achievements of the trade show industry, and fuel our engines for our industry’s full comeback. Attendees will experience our award-winning content brought to life at the Executive Summit, while our TSE editors and partners will extract trending ideas from the magazine and across the industry and present them on the TSE stage. The event will culminate with the traditional Gold 100 Gala, which will recognize trade shows that set the Gold standard and highlight exceptional shows that will earn the coveted Gold 100 Grand Awards. Stay tuned to the TSE website (www.tradeshowexecutive.com) for more award announcements.

Earning a spot on the Top 100 Trade Show Organizers list is the best way for trade show organizers to have their accomplishments recognized. Now, the next step toward this hard-earned recognition is to take a minute to fill out your registration form. Click here to complete your registration.

Additionally, while TSE won’t be compiling full Fastest 50 lists this year, we want to hear about shows that experienced significant growth in 2020 and 2021. If your show experienced double-digit growth in 2020 or 2021 in terms of NSF, number of exhibiting companies, and/or attendance, fill out this form to share your success!
