The 2025 Warsaw International Building and Decoration Materials Exhibition Warsaw Build (hereinafter referred to as the Polish Building Materials Exhibition) is scheduled to be held from February 11th to 13th. It will be grandly held at the PTAK Warsaw Expo, the PTAK International Convention and Exhibition Center in Warsaw, Poland. The organizer is Ptak Warsaw Expo. The exhibition is held once a year. After years of development, the Polish Building Materials Exhibition Warsaw Build has developed into a well-known building materials exhibition in Central Europe.

market expectation

The demand for building materials and home decoration in Eastern Europe is strong. After the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Ukrainian businessmen flocked to Poland, using it as a transshipment point to stockpile a large number of building materials and home decoration products in preparation for post-war reconstruction. It is estimated that more than 600,000 houses in Ukraine will need to be newly built or renovated after the war. More than 80% of building materials and home decoration products are imported through Poland, which has brought great market space for merchants.

Taking residential projects as an example, by 2022, Poland and France will have the largest number of completed houses, Romania will have the most projects started, followed by Poland. Poland’s “Lodz Special Economic Zone” plan has also promoted the development of the construction industry. The growth of housing and construction projects indicates that business opportunities in the Polish building materials market will be released faster, and the real estate industry will help the building materials industry prosper.

In 2018, the global import value of Polish building materials products increased significantly, reaching nearly US$13.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23.2%; of which imports from China reached US$1.181 billion, accounting for 9% of Poland’s total imports, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%.

It can be seen that the Polish building materials market has a large scale and growth potential. Chinese building materials companies can seize the opportunities in the Polish market and further explore the Polish market by participating in exhibitions and expanding trade cooperation.
