Exhibition Overview:
In order to conscientiously implement the important statements of the main leaders of the country on emergency management and disaster prevention, reduction and relief, implement the strategic deployment to promote the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, promote the development of emergency management in the Yangtze River Delta, promote domestic and international exchanges and cooperation in emergency management, and create a strong atmosphere of concern, support and participation in emergency in the whole society, the main leaders of the Yangtze River Delta agreed that the Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, Jiangsu Provincial Emergency Management Department, Zhejiang Provincial Emergency Management Department, Anhui Provincial Emergency Management Department and Shanghai International Trade Promotion Committee will jointly hold the Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Reduction and Rescue Expo. The exhibition has been successfully held for three sessions and is included in the framework of the Yangtze River Delta “5.12” National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Publicity Week.
Aviation emergency rescue has the characteristics of fast response speed, wide rescue range, and strong mobility. When responding to major public emergencies, it plays an important role that cannot be replaced by other rescue methods. With the government’s continuous investment in the emergency industry, the demand for aviation emergency rescue is also expanding. Relying on the brand advantage of the “Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Expo”, the “2025 International Aviation Emergency Rescue Industry Exhibition (Shanghai)” is held at the same time, aiming to establish a professional display and exchange platform in the field of aviation emergency rescue industry.

On October 12, 2020, the first press conference was held to clarify that the Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Expo is one of the eight mechanisms for the coordinated development of emergency management in the Yangtze River Delta, and a “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Hosting the Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Reduction and Rescue Expo” was signed; in January 2021, the Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Expo was included in the “Outline of Shanghai’s 14th Five-Year Plan and Long-Term Goals for 2035”; in February 2021, the Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Expo was included in the “Key Collaborative Project of the National Yangtze River Three Office”; in August 2021, the Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Expo was included in the key engineering projects of the “14th Five-Year Plan for Emergency Management in Shanghai”.

The exhibition has been successfully held for three sessions. The last exhibition had a scale of 60,000 square meters, 532 exhibitors, and 79,600 visitors. All data are in the leading position in the industry. COMAC, Sany Heavy Industry, XCMG, ZTE, Aerospace National Instruments, Changan Automobile, Telecom, Mobile, Unicom, China Electronics Technology Group, PICC, DJI, China Tower, DIIS, Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd., Tunnel Co., Ltd., Shanghai Urban Investment, Shanghai Gas, Shanghai Construction Engineering, Airport Group and other top companies in the industry each displayed the latest technology and equipment on site. Responsible persons from the emergency management departments (bureaus) of Beijing, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Fujian, Henan, Hubei, Chongqing, Ningxia, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and other provinces and cities, responsible persons from the Yangtze River Delta Regional Cooperation Office, responsible persons from relevant departments and units of Shanghai, representatives of large central enterprises, and representatives of relevant universities and scientific research institutions were all invited to participate in the exhibition.
