CHICAGO — Veteran meetings and events industry journalist Marlene Goldman has joined the team Trade Fair Manager team as editor-in-chief, effective April 1. In a career spanning more than 20 years, she has served as director and destination content developer for Today’s Meetings for several years and his articles have appeared in various publications, including World Traveler, BBC Travel, American Way And National Geographic Traveler. She is also the author of two guides, The Little Black Book of San Francisco and and the The Little Black Book of Los Angelesand worked as a freelance writer for several media outlets, including ALHI.com.

Originally from New York City and now based in San Francisco, Marlene began her journalism career in the music industry and has interviewed everyone from Blondie to James Brown. She graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
