Malaysia Machinery Exhibition-Exhibition Introduction
The Malaysia International Machinery and Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition SMEX, also known as the Malaysia Machinery Exhibition, is held annually. It is an influential manufacturing equipment exhibition and machinery industry exhibition in Southeast Asia. The last exhibition was held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Center with an exhibition area of 25,000 square meters, 300 participating companies and 20,000 professional visitors.
The Malaysian Machinery Exhibition (SMEX) will be themed “Smart Manufacturing, Empowering the Future”, covering various fields of manufacturing and trade such as machine tools and metal processing, robots and industrial automation, digital factories, industrial parts, electric power, packaging equipment and materials, and new energy vehicles, aiming to create an important platform for Malaysian and Chinese companies in the machinery and automotive fields.
The Malaysian Machinery and Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition SMEX will hold a series of product promotions, industry exchanges and related forums to promote in-depth cooperation between China and Malaysia in the field of machinery, play a positive role in promoting the fields of high-end equipment and manufacturing, and strive to build an exhibition platform for “brand promotion, trade promotion and technical exchange” for exhibitors.
According to statistics, the bilateral trade volume between China and Malaysia reached US$176.8 billion in 2021 and US$203.6 billion in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 15.3%.
