The Sao Paulo NT EXPO railway industry fair in Brazil is organized by the Brazilian Ministry of Transport. In the last session of the exhibition, 200 companies participated and the number of visitors was 15,000. at the Sao Paulo Convention and Exhibition Center with an exhibition area of 15,000 square meters.
NT EXPO, the Sao Paulo Rail Industry Exhibition in Brazil, is the largest rail industry and rail transportation event in South America. It was founded in 1998 and is an exhibition jointly organized by the Brazilian Ministry of Transportation and the Brazilian government.
Brazil is rich in agricultural and mining resources and has enormous export potential. Its road network represents more than 60% of Brazil’s rail transport capacity. However, around 80% of railway tracks are in poor condition or damaged. seriously limited Brazil’s economic development.
The Brazilian government has focused on the development of rail transportation, prioritizing large-scale infrastructure investment projects, and formulated a medium- and long-term plan for the rail network. The main content of the plan is to improve the structure of the railway network, including railway safety systems, railway speed improvement, commuter transportation, bus and railway viaducts, as well as renovation and the construction of facilities along rail lines.
