As one of the important ports in Indonesia, Batam Island undertakes a large number of maritime transportation tasks. The island has modern port facilities capable of handling cargo and vessels of all types and sizes. Batam is known as the largest concentration of shipbuilding industry in Indonesia, with more than 100 shipbuilding companies and shipyards, and more than 500 supporting industries. In order to support the development of the country’s shipbuilding industry, the government has designated Batam as a free trade zone (FTZ), and local shipyards can obtain tariff and value-added tax reductions and exemptions. The atmosphere at the last exhibition was lively, bringing together professionals from various countries and industry experience to discuss the future development of Indonesian maritime industry from the forefront of technology and changing market trends. The organizer carried out media promotion from multiple dimensions: cooperated with well-known local media, carried out publicity reports on major media platforms in advance, and simultaneously promoted it on various social media; at the same time, it carried out outdoor banner publicity and promotion. Last year, it was displayed at gas stations throughout Batam. We put up banners and posters at the shipyard to promote the event. We also produced invitation letters and video carousels, and conducted one-on-one invitations to buyers and professional buyers to ensure the professionalism and on-site effect of the exhibition.
